Rayston Floor D50 FR: Fire-Rated Polyurea Floor Coating, Hot-Sprayed

Rayston Floor D50 FR is a two-component, hot-sprayed polyurea membrane that cures into a hard layer: a fire-rated polyurea floor coating for fast-track projects.

Reaction to fire Bfl-s1 to EN 13501-1:2018, OS 10 approval and CE marking to EN 13813.

02 · Application

Application of Rayston Floor D50 FR

Mix ratio is A=1 : B=1.1 by weight (1:1 by volume). It is usually sprayed at 2–3 kg/m² and 130–150 bar, with component A at 65–70 °C, component B at 70–75 °C and the hose at 70 °C.

Vehicles can drive on it after 4–5 hours, and a topcoat can be applied after 60 minutes.

04 · Performance

Rayston Floor D50 FR performance

Hardness is 50D, elongation at break 300%, tensile strength 21 MPa (EN-ISO 527-3) and tear strength 98 N/mm (ISO 34-1).

BCA wear is just 10 µm, impact resistance above 24.5 N·m, adhesion 3.8 N/mm², and the radon diffusion coefficient 2.6 × 10⁻¹¹ m²/s – a rare combination for a floor that is back in service the same day.
