Impermax Cold Polyurea Supreme: Solvent-Free Cold Polyurea Membrane
Impermax Cold Polyurea Supreme is a two-component polyurea membrane applied cold by roller, trowel or squeegee. As a completely solvent-free cold polyurea membrane with low odour, it also works indoors.
- Product: Impermax Cold Polyurea Supreme
- Application: cold-applied waterproofing
- Mix: A=100 : B=170 by weight / A=100 : B=220 by volume
- Colours: light grey (close to RAL 7001), dark grey (close to RAL 7011)
01 · Uses
Uses of Impermax Cold Polyurea Supreme
- Roofs, including car-park roofs with a protective layer, balconies and terraces.
- Waterproofing over concrete, metal and prefabricated membranes such as bitumen, PVC and EPDM.
- Water tanks and indoor wet areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and lift pits.
- Repairs of hot-sprayed polyurea, hard-to-reach roof details, and filling of wide expansion joints.
Field example: the Reus roof waterproofed with Impermax Cold Polyurea Supreme.
02 · Application
How the solvent-free cold polyurea membrane is applied
The usual minimum is 2 kg/m² in a single coat on a flat substrate. Pot life is 30 min at 20 °C and 50% RH; air temperature should be between 5 °C and 35 °C with relative humidity below 70%.
The datasheet curing table gives 4 hours total at 20 °C / 50% RH. Light foot traffic is possible the next day, and complete curing (final resistance) takes about 5–6 days, depending on conditions. Where you choose between cold and hot systems, see hot-spray vs cold-applied.

04 · Performance
Impermax Cold Polyurea Supreme performance
Hardness is 70A (ISO 868), elongation at break above 950%, maximum tensile strength 12 MPa (EN ISO 527-1/3) and tear strength 48 N/m (EN ISO 34-1).
The membrane is watertight at 60 kPa (a 6 m water column, EN 1928) and reaches crack-bridging class A5 at -10 °C (EN 1062-7). That elongation, plus solvent-free chemistry, is why it is chosen for detailing and for interiors where odour matters.
Application data
