01 · Uses
Uses of a chemical-resistant pure polyurea coating
- Protective layer to reinforce structures and reduce damage from explosions.
- Lining of tanks holding chemical liquids or liquids with a high solids content.
- Secondary containment basins exposed to chemical spills.
- Buried pipes, even in very wet or chemically aggressive soils.
- Pipes exposed to sand abrasion.
- Rehabilitation of leaking concrete tanks or substrates subject to movement.
- Improved load sliding where required.
- Very long-life protection of steel structures, and protection of expanded polystyrene (EPS) structures.

02 · Application
Application and key properties
High resistance to impact, puncture, compression, abrasion and blast, very good chemical resistance, and very low permeability to gases including radon, methane and CO₂.
Mix ratio is A=1 : B=1.12 by weight (1:1 by volume). Gel time is 6 s at 25 °C and 4 s at 60 °C. Substrate temperature must be between 5 °C and 40 °C and at least 3 °C above the dew point. Minimum coverage is 2 kg/m² and minimum spray pressure 155 bar.
Shore D hardness builds to 35 after 5 min, 43 after 45 min, 50 after 6 h and 55 after 24 h under the test conditions given in the datasheet.
