Impermax Cold Polyurea: Self-Levelling Cold-Applied Polyurea Membrane

Impermax Cold Polyurea is a two-component, self-levelling cold-applied polyurea membrane that cures fast – even at low temperatures – without any spray rig.

Excellent crack-bridging and high elasticity, with fast drying even in cold weather.

01 · Uses

Uses of Impermax Cold Polyurea

  • Flat roofs, including blue roofs (rainwater-retention roofs), balconies and terraces.
  • Waterproofing of exterior concrete structures.
  • Quick, simple repairs of hot-sprayed polyurea membranes.

Not sure whether a cold-applied or hot-sprayed system suits your project? Our comparison of hot-spray vs cold-applied polyurea walks through the trade-offs.

02 · Application

Applying a cold-applied polyurea membrane

Up to 2 kg/m² can be applied in a single coat on a horizontal surface. The substrate must be between 10 °C and 40 °C with moisture below 4%, and relative air humidity below 85%.

Pot life is 180 min at 5 °C, 60 min at 23 °C and 30 min at 35 °C. A 1 mm film dries in 1 h at 35 °C / 30% RH, 1.5 h at 23 °C / 40% RH and 7 h at 5 °C / 60% RH.

Supplied as component A in 25 kg and component B in 1.5 kg packs.
