ETAG 033 bridge deck with Impermax Polyurea H Flex
Engineer notes. Not a blog. An ETAG 033 bridge deck is a named hybrid polyurea kit. It is not a generic spray.
Cite an ETAG 033 bridge deck on the membrane that carries the mark. Krypton magazine NUM.4 (December 2024) writes Impermax Polyurea H Flex (hot-spray hybrid polyurea) on the Guadalmez–Córdoba railway section in Andalusia. The area is 30,000 m². Therefore the specifier does not borrow a roof ETA.
What the ETAG 033 bridge deck mark covers
NUM.4 states that Impermax Polyurea H Flex is certified with an ETE for bridge-deck waterproofing to ETAG 033, certificate 16/0149, with a 25-year service life. Catalogue 2024 also prints EAD-030675-00-0107 (nº 21/0740) on the same commercial name for decks that move. Keep both citations on H Flex. Do not move them onto Polyurea Rayston (pure polyurea).
NUM.5 (October 2025) schedules the same hybrid on Rayston Proof Bridge: Primer Epoxy 100 plus Impermax Polyurea H Flex. Gran Faw Port, Alfaw, is written at 25,000 m². Fast cure is a site fact. It is not a licence to skip the primer.
However, ETAG 033 is a bridge-deck kit. It is not a pedestrian terrace. It is not a cool roof. Also, do not print a kilogram rate on this note.
How to write an ETAG 033 bridge deck
First, name Impermax Polyurea H Flex and the chemical type in one sentence. Then cite ETE 16/0149 as the magazine prints it. After that, name Primer Epoxy 100 where the substrate is concrete. In addition, read thickness from the current TDS, then the calculator.
