Resin floor classes by traffic

Beige seamless resin floor in a glass courtyard with wood door, resin floor classes by traffic

Engineer notes. Not a blog. Write resin floor classes by traffic. Never by a sample. Industry, parking and sports each schedule a primer, a body and a finish. Therefore a chip on a board is not a specification.

01

How resin floor classes are built

Primer Epoxy 100 is the catalogue epoxy primer for prepared concrete. Pavifloor / Pavisoft (resin floor body) is the self-levelling polyurethane body for indoor work. Colodur Eco (aliphatic finish) is the UV-stable top coat the body requires. EP Nivel is the epoxy self-leveller for dry indoor zones with high mechanical wear.

Industry and warehouses sit on that primer–body–finish sentence. Indoor and outdoor parking add abrasion and tyre chemistry. Sports courts schedule a different body. Athletics tracks schedule Rayston RCB-580 / RCB-581 (PU binders for SBR cushion / EPDM wear). Do not put a stadium stand photograph on a floor article. Stands are waterproofing.

However, Rayston Floor D50 FR and D40 FR are hot-spray floor systems. They are not Pavifloor. Kryptanate 100 is a high-reactivity finish, not a body. Also, do not invent kg/m².

What the specifier must name

First, name the traffic. Then name primer, body and finish. After that, read consumption from the current TDS, then the calculator.

See industrial flooring, indoor and outdoor parking, sports courts, athletics tracks, Pavifloor and Colodur Eco.

Outbound reference: CEN-CENELEC — EN 1504-2.

A sample board does not name primer, body and finish. Traffic does. Write the three coats.

Therefore the current TDS remains the source for mix ratio, overcoat and consumption. Then the calculator sizes the area. However, a number invented here would be a specification error. In addition, the application page is the schedule. First name the exposure. Next name the commercial product and the chemical type in the same sentence. After that, open documents. Also keep the finish on the same clause as the body. A sample, a colour or a photograph does not replace that sentence.

These notes do not replace the current TDS, SDS or a written specification. For pack sizes, mix ratio and kg/m², read the current sheet, then the calculator.
