UIB roof Rayston Spray Foam HFO 40

Engineer notes. Not a blog. Roof at the University of the Balearic Islands. Rayston Spray Foam HFO 40 (rigid two-component polyurethane foam) is the recorded insulation.
Impermax H Flex (100% solids hot-applied liquid polyurethane membrane) is the waterproofing. Colodur (single-component aliphatic polyurethane topcoat) is the UV sealer. Therefore the specifier writes the commercial name and the chemical type in the same sentence. Foam is not the membrane.
The recorded build
First, name a pressure-washed deck so the foam can key. Then name Rayston Spray Foam HFO 40 (rigid two-component polyurethane foam) as thermal insulation and a continuous base. After that, name Impermax H Flex (100% solids hot-applied liquid polyurethane) as the joint-free waterproofing. Colodur is the pigmented aliphatic finish.
Catalogue 2026 lists Rayston Spray Foam HFO 40 as a closed-cell rigid foam. Do not substitute Impermax Polyurea H Flex (hot-spray hybrid polyurea) for Impermax H Flex on this clause without a written change. Also, do not invent a kilogram rate. Read consumption from the current sheet, then the calculator.
How to specify the UIB roof build
Name insulation and waterproofing as separate products. Keep foam, hot-applied polyurethane and aliphatic sealer on the current TDS. A cool colour is a finish, not the membrane.
See thermal and acoustic insulation of roofs, public-building roofs and products. Documents stay on /documents/.

Outbound reference: EOTA.
HVAC upstands stay in the same waterproofing sentence as the field.
These notes do not replace the current TDS, SDS or a written specification. For pack sizes, mix ratio and kg/m², read the current sheet, then the calculator.
